Originally born in Washington DC, Alice's story of becoming a full-time painter is truly a unique one. Much of her early inspiration is drawn from her love for celebrating food, her twin brother chef Thomas Straker, and her fateful meeting with a beautiful piece of raspberry meringue cake in France.

Her favourite painters include Andy Warhol, Gauguin and Salvador Dali. She continues to paint artwork that inspires nostalgia, joy, and comfort.

Her work is displayed in several resturants, kitchens, living rooms, and galleries gallore. As she continues to paint beautiful art peices on the canvas, Alice's message is that your food experience is something that should be cherised and rembered for the rest of your life!
